Today’s concert in the Buenos Aires has been suspended due to problems in the arrival of technical equipment, the organizers announced.

EFE said that the plane that brought “some of the fundamental equipment” to mount the recital had a problem and would shortly inform the day when the concert would be rescheduled, which could be next Monday, but also clarified that concerts on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday are not changed.

The “Queen of Pop” arrived in Buenos Aires two days ago along with her three children and an entourage of 220 people to give four concerts in the stadium of River Plate, as part of her tour “Sweet & Sticky.”

The singer visited the president of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez, on Tuesday and shemet there with the Franco-Colombian former kidnap victim Ingrid Betancourt, held hostage by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) until last July.

The three women chatted briefly and then posed for a picture.

Madonna is staying in a luxurious presidential suite in a five star hotel, where she stayed in 1996, the last time the artist was in Buenos Aires, where she filmed the movie “Evita.”

The tour “Sticky and sweet,” which ends in December, will follow to Santiago de Chile and the Brazilian cities Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
