Madonna and Ritchie deny the 50 million divorce
Both have released a communique which denied the information stating that the diva would pay that amount to filmmaker
Earlier this week, the vast majority of newspapers picked up the news: Madonna was going to disburse 50 million euros, which would go to the pocket of Guy Ritchie for a divorce. Were based on a statement that the publicist for Madonna, Lis Rosemberg, made to The Associated Press. Called it “one of the most expensive divorce ever paid.”
But the couple is out today with a communique in which clarify that such information is “misleading and inaccurate.”
“We have inentado maintaining a dignified silence on our divorce over the past few months despite apparent interest from the media. A statement misleading and inaccurate, specifically in relation to the amount involved, which was mistakenly distributed by the Associated Press this week.
“The financial details of this agreement shall remain in private, it goes without saying that the two are happy with the agreement. Our biggest concern, like any father, is the care and welfare of our children.”
Madonna and Guy Ritchie were divorced on Oct. 16 last, after 8 years of marriage.
