In her last visit to Brazil, Madonna was invited by the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, a part of the opening of the 2016 Olympics to be held in the Brazilian city. While for now only the big recital is confirmed that the Queen of Pop will provide on Copacabana beach for Christmas 2009, media reports said she would be willing to be part of that event.

Brazil missing several years but is already preparing a big party to kick off the Olympics Rio 2016. It is for this reason that the mayor of the city that will house athletes from around the world would not miss the opportunity to offer Madonna being part of it.

So far no one has transcended the singer’s official statement, which is fascinated with Rio de Janeiro and it was there she met her current partner (Jesus Luz). However, a journalist who was at the meeting said she had told him that is willing to put their art in the opening, which surely does not cease to shine and color.
