Madonna divorce is costing $ 76 million
LONDON (AP) – As part of his divorce settlement with Madonna, Guy Ritchie will take a minimum of 50 million pounds ($ 76 million), said on Monday, the spokeswoman for the singer.

Liz Rosenberg told the AP that the agreement is in the range of 50 to 60 million pounds (76 to 92 million dollars), including the value of the property of the couple at Ashcombe, to the west of England. Ritchie also added that the bar would keep the couple in the west of the city, the Punchbowl.
A representative of the UK filmmaker refused to comment.
The couple’s combined assets amounting to some 525 million dollars, the vast majority of Madonna. Ritchie had a fortune of about $ 35 million.
The agreement reached between nearly doubles the former Beatle Paul McCartney and model Heather Mills.
“I would assume that this is one of the largest payments made in a divorce settlement,” said Rosenberg.
The matter of custody of her children, she added, is yet to be resolved.
Madonna and Ritchie have two children, Rocco, age 8, and David Banda, 3, whom he adopted in Malawi in 2006. The singer has a daughter aged 12, Lourdes, from a previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon.
Madonna and Ritchie, director of “Snatch” and “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, married in a lavish ceremony in a Scottish castle in December 2000.
In recent years reported that their relationship was wrong and in recent months _ Madonna was linked unfairly, she says _ with the separation of the baseball player Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees, and his ex-wife Cynthia.
Madonna and Ritchie announced their separation in October after months of speculation in the tabloid press. Both achieved a preliminary decree of divorce on Nov. 21 and would be formally separated in early January.
Madonna started her tour musical “Sweet and Sticky” on August 23 in Cardiff, Wales.
