Madonna Betancourt, Madonna and Fernandez together in Buenos Aires
The president of Argentina, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, has managed to gather Tuesday for a few moments in Buenos Aires to the former hostage Ingrid Betancourt by the FARC and the singer Madonna. The three were found at the Casa Rosada, the seat of the Argentine Government, at the end of the visit Betancourt to thank the president for his efforts to secure his release, when it coincided with the arrival of the singer at a meeting with Fernandez drawing his concert tour in Buenos Aires.

On Monday, the former hostage was received in Quito by the Ecuadorian president, Rafael Correa, who also held a meeting behind closed doors. After his visit to Argentina will travel to Peru, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia and Venezuela.
For its part, the American singer, who arrived accompanied by a strong custody restricting the pictures that officials and employees of Casa Rosada sought to take him, used his visit to walk the halls of the Casa Rosada, where in 1999 filmed some scenes from the movie Evita, which starred alongside Antonio Banderas.
The pop diva arrived on Monday in Buenos Aires along with her three children and an entourage of 220 people to give four concerts in the River Plate stadium in Buenos Aires, chosen to do the filming for the video of his tour Sweet & Sticky.
