Images of Madonna’s new campaign for Dolce & Gabanna by Steven Klein
If a month ago we announced that Madonna would be the protagonist of the new season spring-summer 2010 Dolce & Gabanna, we can finally enjoy a preview of the pop star in collaboration with the Italians Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

Swida magazine has been published on Wednesday that the first pictures of Madonna’s work with the fashion company Dolce & Gabbana, where we can see the pop diva in images that simulate scenes of everyday life in the purest style of the film Italian neorealism.

The architect of these photographs, Steven Klein, reveal an intimate pace than real life facet of Madonna, in which she plays the strong sensuality of actress Anna Magnani.

Stefano Gabbana explained a few days ago the Italian edition of Vanity Fair that Madonna chose the image of her new campaign because “she loved the collection” and “passionate about Italian cinema.” In fact, Monica Vitti is your favorite actress.
However, this is not the first time these artists to join forces. Madonna and the Italian duo worked exactly 16 years ago, in 1993, to design the models that the artist would look during her tour The Girlie Show.
Seeing the success of their union, repeated last year’s experience designing the costumes for the shell Like a Virgin for her Sticky and Sweet tour.
In this collection, the designers return to their Italian origins, evoking a strong heritage and are of iconic pieces like the corset. It therefore seems logical that even Madonna, who personalizes the sensuality of the brand strong and shared the Italian roots with designers, has been chosen and the only one to represent this Sicilian-inspired collection.
As for the image that we see the blonde eating spaghetti, Stefano explains: “Of course I eat pasta. Additionally, you can afford with all the exercise you do.”
